Challenge Rules

Pronghorn Antelope - Campbell Pronghorn Circuit

Participants will be allowed to submit a maximum of two filmed pronghorn hunts for scoring, only one of which may be a buck harvest unless law prohibits this combination, and then Teams may only submit filmed hunts in accordance with the Country, Province or State laws for pronghorn.

HUNTER SCORING:

Bucks are scored on gross Boone and Crockett scoring system plus the length of all abnormal points; this is a B&C green score rounded up to the nearest point. Points are allocated at a rounded up score value (bucks scoring 67 2/8 gross score would count 68 points toward team score; bucks scoring 67 5/8 would count 68 points). CERTAIN CHALLENGE EVENTS MAY HAVE A MINIMUM (BOONE AND CROCKETT GROSS SCORE) REQUIREMENT AND/OR POINT RESTRICTION FOR BUCKS HARVESTED AS DICTATED BY DESIGNATED COUNTRY, PROVINCE, STATE, OUTFITTER, AND/OR AREA RULES AND REGULATIONS. Hunters taking a buck less than the requirements set forth for each specific Challenge minimum requirements will lose all hunter points and filming points associated with hunting and filming of that animal. These restrictions, if any, shall be posted with the information and itinerary of each specific Qualifying event.

Does are scored at 35 points. A hunter can take any legal combination of his tags, with a maximum of two filmed hunts to be submitted for scoring, only one of which can be a buck harvest (One buck; one doe; one buck and one doe; or two does). All points will accumulate toward team’s final score.

Prior to retrieval of an animal, every team must contact a representative of the Campbell Outdoor Circuit. A representative of the Campbell Outdoor Circuit, at his or her discretion may film the recovery and/or required recovery video. Teams are still required to film their own recovery footage to count toward teams filming score.
