11 Teams have all met up again in Tell City Indiana to match skills with some of the finest videographers in the business, filming hunts for the wary eastern gobblers of Perry County. Monday teams arrived and had a lottery draw for hunt areas. After that 11 students were chosen to pair up with the teams for an assembly at the Tell City High School where 500 students judged them on turkey calling abilities and entertaining skits. Teams participated in a seminar, question and answer session and the top three students were awarded prizes provided by Ol Man Treestands, Cabelas, Bills Custom Calls, and Hunt Club Services. Congratulations to Phillip Pitts from Team Endless Season and his Tell City partner Colton Thomas for winning the contest.
After that teams were shown their hunt areas and from there we were off to Bill and Daves Smokin Pit BBQ for our rules meeting, banquet and meet and greet with all the fine landowners who graciously offered up their land for the teams to film hunts on. Bev Mento from the Convention and Visitors Bureau offered up $1600.00 to the landowners as prize money for the landowner who hosted the top 3 teams in the event. We are exremely excited to be back in Tell City for the 3rd year and with even more fine properties than before.

Day 1 was awesome and 4 teams have checked in some great videoed hunts. Congratulations to Team Outdoor Allstars, The Chase, Xtreme Dream, and Rack Attack. The weather has been super, the birds seem to be a little hened up but patience seems to be the trick. More to come tomorrow!!
Day 2 of this event was an exciting one. Team Xtreme Dream of Brad Koiman and KaCey Struckman submitted their 2nd bird as well as Jeremy and Heather Huntley of Team Rack Attack submitted their 2nd bird, finally Dean Scott and Mark Scroggins of Team The Fever submitted some near record footage of their turkey hunt. As it sits right now Team Xtreme Dream is in first followed by Team Rack Attack! We will have more updates tomorrow as we enter the final day of this 3 day event!

Congratulations to our winners Brad Koiman and KaCey Struckman of Team Xtreme Dream who won this same event last year as team Camo Lounge, they were the only team last year able two pull off 2 filmed hunts and were 1 of 2 teams to do it again this year!!! Team Rack Attack of Jeremy and Heather Huntley broke the bad luck streak and also turned in 2 filmed hunts to take 2nd place. Dean Scott and Mark Scroggins of Team Fever took 3rd place with a filmed turkey hunt that now holds the title of the highest scoring video on a filmed turkey hunt ever in the Campbell Outdoor Challenge. 4th Place belongs to a team that is no stranger to Thunder Chickens and that's Wayne Burns and George Lang of Illumanights Team Outdoor Allstars.
