At the end of day one no teams had taken a whitetail on camera. All teams saw plenty of deer but they were either not close enough or did not meet the 130" minimum. Check back tomorrow for more updates.

This morning Team Extreme filmed a doe hunt and moved up to the top position, 10 min. later four coyotes moved in and started eating on the doe. By the time the guys got down to get the deer most of the hind quarters had been eaten which hurt the weight points for the team. Several teams are right on there trail and some have not checked in today yet. We will have the official scores updated tonight.

Team HunterCam/No Trace Camo has jumped in the top spot with a filmed doe hunt. Several teams have seen good bucks and are getting more familiar with there hunting areas so tommorow everything could change stay tuned.

Looks like Team Pine Ridge has set the pace for day 3 of the Challenge filming a nice buck hunt this morning. Also The Little Brothers filmed a doe hunt and are trying for a come back. All teams have the option today of hunting the assigned secondary spot so now it's up to them, do they stick with the original spot or move. Check back for the updated leaderboard tonight.
The AR Dream team Brought in a doe tonight bringing heat to the other 4 teams on top. Here are the current points standings.
Well it's the last evening of the challenge, and two teams have brought in successful filmed hunts. Team M2D camo filmed a nice buck hunt and team Boyer filmed a doe hunt and even filmed a bonus turkey hunt. Team Boyer had a fall Illinois turkey tag and although the hunt did not count towards the challenge they got some great footage and good eatin'. Things have really heated up as we near the end of the challenge. Check back tonight for the updated points standings!!

Well it's the final day of the challenge and what a morning it was. As the saying goes, it aint over till it's over and several teams feeling the pressure were successful filming hunts this morning. Pine Ridge closed the gap on the AR Dream team with a filmed doe hunt. Team Boyer filmed a second doe hunt bumping them up several spots. Team Southern Xtreme fimed a successful doe hunt as well as Team John 14:6. This really shows how fast the tables can turn in "The Sport of Filming Hunts"!!!!!

Congratulations to The AR Dream Team and Pine Ridge Archery for winning the 2006 Apple Creek Outfitters Archery Championship. The 2 teams battled it out back and forth and at the end of it all the scores came out exactly the same. After reviewing the teams footage, the call was too close to make so we congratulate both teams with the win. Another team who made a nice last minute come back was Team Boyer who on the last morning successfully filmed a second doe hunt putting them in 3rd. Right behind them was another team that jumped in on the last day, Team Southern Xtreme with a nice filmed buck hunt. Several other teams were close behind. Overall we here at Campbell's were very pleased with how smooth everything went. We met some great people, had a great time and ate like royalty. Hat's off to our cook for the week, Joey Arakas from Mertle Beach, SC. We ate good, believe me. Thanks to all who participated, and thanks to everyone who helped make this event a success!!
