11 circuit teams arrived Tuesday afternoon ready to kick off the 2008 circuit season in Tell City. The turkey challenge is the 1st leg in this years 4 event circuit. The evening was hosted in the Schergens center in Tell City, Indiana. This was the first event we have opened to the general public and we had tremendous response to that from the Perry County area. Due to limited connectivity at our location the updates may be spoty but I will try to get updates as quick as I can. I will have the team list and updates later today.

Team Mill Creek Outdoors jumped onto the scoreboard Wednesday with a filmed archery hunt. Many other teams have seen and heard plenty of turkeys, but with only having been in the areas for a day, they have had to adjust strategy to zero in on the birds. With this being the first event in the 2008 circuit, teams will have to decide if they want to wait for a big gobbler or film a good jake hunt to insure a good circuit positioning instead of just focusing on an individual event win.

Day 2 was brutal for most of the teams yesterday, a lot of the turkeys were non responsive today and made filming hunts very difficult. Three teams had very close incounters but were unsuccessful.
