What can you say about this place!! We are here at Crooked Creek Outfitters http://www.crookedcreekoutfitter.com/ in Buffalo South Dakota and it is truly awesome out here! Teams checked in Monday the 8th of Sept, lottery drew for their areas, filmed for team intros and guides took everyone to the areas they drew. That night we had our rules meeting and banquet at Saloon #3 resturaunt in Buffalo. Teams were extremely excited about the numbers of antelope in all the areas!

The first day teams had lots of action. Two teams had successful filmed hunts, Ranger Joes filmed a nice antelope buck hunt and American Bowhunters got great video of an antelope doe hunt. Here is the current points standings for the 2008 circuit.

Day 2 was even better than the 1st. Ernie and Herb Filmed an unsuccessful spot and stalk but right after that, the herd moved close to the blind and Herb filmed himself taking a P&Y buck. Later on, our circuit leader going into this event, Mill Creek Outdoor Productions, regained their 1st place lead in the circuit with a spot and stalk doe hunt on film. The excitement didn't stop there, Kurt and Laura from American Bowhunters have really made an awesome comeback in this event. Laura filmed Kurt harvest an Antelope that ended up scoring 78!! With 2 filmed antelope hunts, this put American Bowhunter in the lead, not only in this event, but in the circuit as well!! Here are the current points standings.

Day 3 was again a very productive day. Brian and Gerald from Rivers Edge Productions filmed an antelope buck hunt. Team Almost Heaven of Dennis and Animal also filmed a successful bowhunt of a buck. The point gap for the circuit is really tightening up as we aproach the final event in the circuit, The Archery Whitetail Championship!!

As these challenge events typically go, it's not over till it's over and this being the final day, 4 more filmed antelope hunts were submitted. This added a lot of anticipation to the final results of this challenge AND the circuit points standings. Kluckys Outdoor Adventures filmed a massive antelope buck hunt, Farm Credit Services filmed a buck hunt, Team Rascal and team One brick shy also filmed doe hunts. Congratulations to American Bowhunters for winning this Campbellcameras.com antelope challenge and our new circuit leaders, Kluckys Outdoor Adventures! Going into this, the 3rd leg of the 2008 Campbell Outdoor Challenge circuit, the points gap was pretty wide. After this event the points are much closer and it's still anyones game going into the final event, the Archery Whitetail Championship at Campbell Illinois Whitetails in November.
