The Campbell Outdoor Challenge continues to grow in coordination with the sup portative efforts of sponsors and Challenge teams. Through those combined efforts the Campbell Outdoor Challenge is proud to announce a substantial increase in cash and prizes for the 2008 Challenge Circuit. Already for the 2008 circuit season Sponsors have dedicated over $60,000.00 in cash and prizes to the circuit winning video team in addition to the individual Challenge prizes. With the signing of additional sponsors we hope to continue to increase this amount before the start of the 2008 circuit season.
We are working on the following events for the 2008 Challenge Circuit: Hog Challenge (Texas), Turkey Challenge (Indiana), Antelope Challenge (South Dakota), Archery Whitetail Challenge (Illinois), and Muzzleloader Whitetail Challenge (Illinois). The eventual circuit championship team will be determined by the team accumulating the most points over the course of the season. A team doesn’t need to participate in every event to be eligible for the challenge championship. However, teams competing in every event will have more opportunities to accumulate points.
Bowfishing Challenges were held in 2006 and 2007. We are anticipating growth of this sport. We are coordinating special efforts to create a separate bowfishing circuit of challenges that will air as a distinct and separate circuit from the above announced circuit.
Special corporate challenge events will be aired as separate airtime buys. The goal is to provide circuit teams with a guaranteed year around exposure on our Campbell Outdoor Challenge TV Show. This should help teams in securing sponsors with the commitment that their team will have year around exposure for their sponsors.
“The Sport of Filming Hunts” would not be able to achieve such growth without the combined efforts of Challenge members, viewer ship support, and sponsors. It is the goal of the Campbell Outdoor Challenge to continue to expand into a profitable, professional Circuit whereby teams can make a living doing what they love. Filming hunts! This goal can be achieved by acquiring sponsorship dollars and prize money winnings.
