“What an amazing event!!” Exclaimed John Campbell, Host of the popular television show. “ This was our first corporate event ever and we were extremely pleased with the caliber of participants we had. Everyone seemed to have a great time and even though some of the teams had never filmed hunts before, we ended up with some of the best footage we have ever had submitted!" he concluded

Price-Pfister, a subsidiary of Black and Decker, manufacture of high quality faucets and valves for the plumbing industry, provided all fifteen of the videoing teams. Teams were comprised of Price Pfister clients and dealer reps and all cameramen teams were filming with a Canon GL 2 broadcast quality outdoor video cameras. "This was an outstanding promotion for Price Pfister and we really appreciate all of the fine efforts put forth from the teams," stated Price Pfister spokesman Spencer Brown. "Everyone had an exceptional time and the staff and facilities of the Campbell operation are definately first rate," he added.

The Campbell Outdoor Challenge features teams, each team consisting of a hunter and a cameraman, matching their skills in videoing hunts for various wild free ranging game animals. Videoing points are based upon a copyrighted scoring system and awarded based on acquired video increments of footage, hunt audio, video stability and overall quality.

Team Robertson of Jim Robertson and David Morgan finished fourth with a score of 439 points and Team Calabama of Scott Anderson and Perry Bullard finished fifth with a score of  438 points.

"Most of the viewers of wildlife hunting shows and videos have no idea how much of a challenge (hence the name of the competition) it is to successfully film a hunt for free-ranging animals in the wild," stated John Campbell, host of the Campbell Outdoor Challenge TV Show. "This competition highlights the skills of the cameramen who help bring the 'outdoors' indoors to millions of viewers."
